Jake Durham is a commercial photographer, composite artist, author, and journalist based in Oklahoma. His work has been featured in prominent publications such as Professional Photographers of America, Professional Photographer Magazine, 405 Magazine, Oklahoma Today Magazine, and The Oklahoma Gazette. Jake regularly contributes to several Oklahoma City publications as a freelance writer and photographer.
Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Jake’s early career as a pilot took him around the world. His passion for education later led him back to academia, where he earned a doctorate in education from Oklahoma State University. This academic background enhances his work as an educator, where he offers photography workshops and classes.
Jake holds certifications as a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) and FAA Part 107 Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) operator. His photographic interests are diverse, spanning fine art and composite portraits, commercial photography, advertorial and editorial work, photojournalism, landscape, drone photography, macro, and the exploration of abandoned spaces.
